We highly recommend TMAC!!! Our 6 year old son started this year and he is really enjoying the classes, teachers and... the learning. He is excited to test for his belt and shows us what his learning. He currently participates in the after school program and participated in summer camp- the best one yet, he said. I also get to do Yoga! Looking forward to possibly expanding training as a family in the future.read more

This centre has it all for young kids: after school care, PA day, and summer camps. Jack and his team are attentive,... thoughtful and provide a great environment for learning life skills like self defence, discipline, respect and self confidence. I had my son's birthday party at the martial arts training centre and it was an amazing experience! My son and his 16... hockey buddies enjoyed every second of their 3 hour, kickboxing, rock climbing, jumping castle, fun filled afternoon. I was looking for a place to start kickboxing for my daughter and I last winter. I found the Martial Arts Training... Centre online and we tried it out for a week based on the positive reviews. Needless to say it was great and we have been going regularly to the evening and Saturday classes ever since. Jack Bateman and his team of instructors are very supportive and patiently teach you all the right techniques. It's a friendly and fun atmosphere... And you break out into a real sweat! Both my son and myself started training here since last November. We both love this place. I always want my son to... learn martial arts to gain some displine and self-confidence. But it is so difficult to squize more time from evening or weekend given how many curricular activities he already has and how busy I am as a working mom. Luckily, I found The Martial Training Centre, where offers the after school programs with both training and homework done between 3:30 to 6pm. They pick up my son from school at Markham! I only train there once or twice a week, but I started to feel my body getting more flexible and more energetic. All the instructors are very friendly and professional. I think kickboxing is the most effective self-defence martial arts and easy to grasp for people who have no martial arts background. I highly recommended this place.read more

Jack provides a fun safe environment for the family to learn a great skill. For the kids he teaches them confidence... respect and self discipline, but they are having so much fun they don't even realize that they are learning. For the old dogs like me it is a great way to get into shape and keep an edge. I highly recommend the Martial Arts Training Centre and Jack Bateman. You will not be disappointed.
